This year, the International Conference on the History of Media Art will be held in association with the International Image Festival in Manizales, Colombia.

The conference held its first edition in 2005 and has since gained significant recognition in several locations around the world: Banff 2005, Berlin 2007, Melbourne 2009, Liverpool 2011, Riga 2013, Montreal 2015, Krems/Vienna 2017, Aalborg 2019, São Paulo 2022, and Venice 2023.
Recognizing the growing importance of art and technology, the aim is to engage the academic community from diverse disciplines in discussing the history of Media Art within interdisciplinary and intercultural contexts.
Co-Creation and Co-Design: Individuals,
Groups, and Communities
This theme explores how interactions among individuals, groups, and communities can strengthen collective creation and collaborative design.
